If Marin Petkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bozhil Totev hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Nano Vúndev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tospatlari's supporters rose to their feet, but Nano Vúndev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaloyan Stefchov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 28 minutes, Marin Petkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ПФК Левски 1914's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marin Petkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bozhil Totev fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tospatlari's protests and gave Bozhil Totev a yellow card for diving instead. Bozhil Totev hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Marin Petkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ivaylo Minchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nano Vúndev came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Tospatlari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nano Vúndev couldn't finish the play.

ПФК Левски 1914's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of ПФК Левски 1914 booed when Tospatlari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruslan Paunchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes, ПФК Левски 1914's Ilko Lishev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivaylo Minchev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ПФК Левски 1914 reached it. In the 76th match minute, Tospatlari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bozhil Totev to maneuver through the defense. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
