In the 3rd minute Iliya Butev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velko Rasolkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Furtuni booed when FC LIVERPOOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhan Dzhartov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Furtuni's Hristiyan Kochev shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Velko Rasolkov but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tzeno Tanovski in the 9th minute of play forced FC LIVERPOOL's goalkeeper Velko Rasolkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Iliya Butev could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Velko Rasolkov however easily saved by the left post. Slavi Kachov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Velko Rasolkov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Velko Rasolkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bozhidar Nikolovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, Furtuni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Bandrov to maneuver through the defense. Ancho Srebrev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valcho Gutunarov in the 21st minute of the match. Slavi Kachov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velko Rasolkov having to interfere. A collision led to FC LIVERPOOL getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Valcho Gutunarov hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iliya Butev got free with Velko Rasolkov in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iliya Butev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Velko Rasolkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Slavi Kachov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes FC LIVERPOOL got a freekick which was hit by Valcho Gutunarov. Iliya Butev struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Velko Rasolkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furtuni. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Slavi Kachov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Orlin Yavashev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velko Rasolkov having to interfere. When Iliya Butev fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Furtuni's protests and gave Iliya Butev a yellow card for diving instead. 62 minutes into the match, FC LIVERPOOL's goal looked a bit too open when Slavi Kachov came free, but Velko Rasolkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes FC LIVERPOOL got a freekick which was hit by Mladen Gopov. After a defensive mix-up in FC LIVERPOOL's zone, Iliya Butev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Velko Rasolkov came out of the goal and Iliya Butev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tzeno Tanovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tzeno Tanovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velko Rasolkov having to interfere. Iliya Butev got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Velko Rasolkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slavi Kachov, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. FC LIVERPOOL's Velko Rasolkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slavi Kachov in the 89th minute of play. Velko Rasolkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tzeno Tanovski in the 91st minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC LIVERPOOL defense, Slavi Kachov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Velko Rasolkov. The FC LIVERPOOL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Velko Rasolkov should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Furtuni were the better team. Furtuni's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
