Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vesko Velev in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yosif Gluhchev saved Zornitsa from getting behind. Yosif Gluhchev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vesko Velev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. If Iliyan Gyonov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tencho Kozov hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Iliyan Gyonov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Yosif Gluhchev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Ливърпул ФК getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Orlin Belomorski hit a great ball. Encho Kiselinchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slavi Stamboliyski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 43 minutes, Pancho Pashkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zornitsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pancho Pashkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 46th minute, but Yosif Gluhchev got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Zornitsa hanging dry this time. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iliyan Gyonov made a kick off. Encho Kiselinchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peycho Skobelev, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Yosif Gluhchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iliyan Gyonov in the 52nd minute of the match. Iliyan Gyonov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Yosif Gluhchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Zornitsa got a freekick which was hit by Tencho Kozov. Iliyan Gyonov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yosif Gluhchev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Yosif Gluhchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlin Belomorski in the 65th minute of play. When Vitomir Bodlyov fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zornitsa's protests and gave Vitomir Bodlyov a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Zornitsa's Vitomir Bodlyov got a free kick in the 66th minute. Slavi Stamboliyski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Encho Kiselinchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Zornitsa's zone, Vladimir Elenski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yosif Gluhchev came out of the goal and Vladimir Elenski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zornitsa's Yosif Gluhchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iliyan Gyonov in the 78th minute of play. Orlin Belomorski scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yosif Gluhchev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vladimir Elenski charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimir Elenski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ливърпул ФК getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Iliyan Gyonov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yosif Gluhchev having to interfere. Yosif Gluhchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iliyan Gyonov in the 95th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ventzislav Chelibeev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ливърпул ФК's supporters rose to their feet, but Ventzislav Chelibeev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yosif Gluhchev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Ливърпул ФК were the better team. Ливърпул ФК's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
