After recieving a nice pass, FC Madsherito's Petko Kachulev tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ginyo Klincharov in the 15th minute of play forced Leeds U.'s goalkeeper Antoni Abrashev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yanaki Bumbalov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neno Marinski in the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ginyo Klincharov in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antoni Abrashev saved Leeds U. from getting behind. Antoni Abrashev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dilyan Vapirev in the 38th minute. When Vihar Barutchiev fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leeds U.'s protests and gave Vihar Barutchiev a yellow card for diving instead. 40 minutes into the match, FC Madsherito's Petko Kachulev broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 43 played minutes Ginyo Klincharov rounded Leeds U.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ginyo Klincharov to make the kick off. If Ginyo Klincharov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
