In the 71st minute, Lokomotion's Zhelyo Kiradzhiev seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zhelyo Kiradzhiev the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lokomotion protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zhelyo Kiradzhiev had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Zhelyo Kiradzhiev hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Lokomotion's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 91st minute, Paun Stanyov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Beroe-1979 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lokomotion.
