Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dragolyub Ruevski started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Beroe-1979's zone, Arhangel Chuchkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stoyko Kotlarski came out of the goal and Arhangel Chuchkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trendafil Hadzhihristov might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anastas Kostakiev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trendafil Hadzhihristov ran back to his position shaking his head. Anastas Kostakiev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trendafil Hadzhihristov, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 25th match minute, Beroe-1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zlatan Dramski to maneuver through the defense. Stoyko Kotlarski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arhangel Chuchkov went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Arhangel Chuchkov came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Brestica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arhangel Chuchkov couldn't finish the play. Stoyko Kotlarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragolyub Ruevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 38th match minute, Beroe-1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chavdar Karavelov to maneuver through the defense. Arhangel Chuchkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Stoyko Kotlarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valkan Spasunov made a kick off. A collision led to Beroe-1979 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Trendafil Hadzhihristov hit a great ball. Svetlin Banovski charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Svetlin Banovski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Svetlin Banovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dragolyub Ruevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragolyub Ruevski took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stoyko Kotlarski. Stoyko Kotlarski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 69thth minute of the game Dragolyub Ruevski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beroe-1979's Stoyko Kotlarski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dragolyub Ruevski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arhangel Chuchkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Stoyko Kotlarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Beroe-1979's goal looked a bit too open when Dragolyub Ruevski came free, but Stoyko Kotlarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Beroe-1979 booed when Brestica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milcho Tagarev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valkan Spasunov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastas Kostakiev having to interfere. In the 97th minute Arhangel Chuchkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stoyko Kotlarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brestica were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Beroe-1979 for a fine match.
