Spectators: 7760 (Terracing: 5915, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 125) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ginyo Klincharov started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Madsherito's zone, Hristofor Dudev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanaki Bumbalov came out of the goal and Hristofor Dudev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dilyan Vapirev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benislav Shtúrbanov struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Yanaki Bumbalov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THE RED STARS. FC Madsherito's Yanaki Bumbalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benislav Shtúrbanov in the 11th minute of play. Doychin Tyutyundzhiev's late challenge caught a FC Madsherito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doychin Tyutyundzhiev helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Doychin Tyutyundzhiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvio Kusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dilyan Vapirev in the 15th minute of play. THE RED STARS's Silvio Kusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ginyo Klincharov in the 17th minute of play. Hristofor Dudev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Yanaki Bumbalov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Silvio Kusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimo Yarkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Silvio Kusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dilyan Vapirev in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Evgeni Borchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes FC Madsherito got a freekick which was hit by Svetlin Humbadzhiev. Dimitar Stanev might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yanaki Bumbalov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimitar Stanev ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hristofor Dudev in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yanaki Bumbalov saved FC Madsherito from getting behind. If Dilyan Vapirev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hristofor Dudev made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Dilyan Vapirev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Madsherito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dilyan Vapirev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the FC Madsherito defense, Benislav Shtúrbanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yanaki Bumbalov. The FC Madsherito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yanaki Bumbalov should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, FC Madsherito's goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Vragolomski came free, but Yanaki Bumbalov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Boyko Dashov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ginyo Klincharov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Ginyo Klincharov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Madsherito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ginyo Klincharov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Hristofor Dudev managed to get in a good position for a shot. THE RED STARS's supporters rose to their feet, but Hristofor Dudev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yanaki Bumbalov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Benislav Shtúrbanov managed to get in a good position for a shot. THE RED STARS's supporters rose to their feet, but Benislav Shtúrbanov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yanaki Bumbalov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dilyan Vapirev got free with Silvio Kusko in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nikola Vragolomski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 minutes, Dilyan Vapirev made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. THE RED STARS's Silvio Kusko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, FC Madsherito's goal looked a bit too open when Stan Stromann came free, but Yanaki Bumbalov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave THE RED STARS a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Evgeni Borchev, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Madsherito's Yanaki Bumbalov. 2-1. There was no doubt that THE RED STARS were the better team. THE RED STARS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
