Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hristofor Dudev took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute Stan Stromann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Tarandzhiyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes of play, THE RED STARS's Hristofor Dudev made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Tarandzhiyski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ancho Pisarev's late challenge caught a THE RED STARS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ancho Pisarev helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lokomotion's Ancho Pisarev got a free kick in the 13th minute. Evgeni Borchev hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, Lilcho Stoyov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Igor Tarandzhiyski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Igor Tarandzhiyski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hristofor Dudev in the 32nd minute of the match. Dimitar Stanev might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Tarandzhiyski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimitar Stanev ran back to his position shaking his head. 45 minutes into the match, Lokomotion's goal looked a bit too open when Hristofor Dudev came free, but Igor Tarandzhiyski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Lokomotion players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. THE RED STARS were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Spiro Dinev to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Spiro Dinev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvio Kusko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. A collision led to Lokomotion getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Valeri Piperov hit a great ball. Lokomotion's Spiro Dinev got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lokomotion's Igor Tarandzhiyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benislav Shtúrbanov in the 61st minute of play. THE RED STARS's Silvio Kusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spiro Dinev in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Lokomotion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spiro Dinev to maneuver through the defense. Igor Tarandzhiyski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hristofor Dudev in the 72nd minute of the match. Ancho Pisarev was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lokomotion! Igor Tarandzhiyski had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Evgeni Borchev's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Igor Tarandzhiyski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stan Stromann in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Benislav Shtúrbanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Tarandzhiyski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Lilcho Stoyov made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dimitar Stanev. After 96 minutes, Paun Stanyov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lokomotion and the THE RED STARS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of THE RED STARS booed when Lokomotion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paun Stanyov didn't get a good kick on the ball. THE RED STARS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
