Pancho Pashkov started the match with the kick off. Vaklin Geshakov's late challenge caught a Zornitsa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vaklin Geshakov helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Zornitsa's Slavi Stamboliyski got a free kick in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Zornitsa's Yosif Gluhchev got control of the ball when George Goyanes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raul Haimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yosif Gluhchev having to interfere. In the 19th minute, George Goyanes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yosif Gluhchev, passed just outside the right post. Zornitsa's Yosif Gluhchev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Zornitsa from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peycho Skobelev during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. George Goyanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yosif Gluhchev having to interfere. Gaytaninovo's Avgust Daganov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tencho Kozov in the 34th minute of play. Avgust Daganov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitomir Bodlyov went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Raul Haimar came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yosif Gluhchev could save by the left post. After 43 minutes of play, Zornitsa's Pancho Pashkov made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Avgust Daganov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaytaninovo's George Goyanes got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Peycho Skobelev was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Yosif Gluhchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Goyanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yosif Gluhchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Orlandus in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Zornitsa's goal looked a bit too open when George Goyanes came free, but Yosif Gluhchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avgust Daganov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tencho Kozov in the 62nd minute. Gaytaninovo's George Goyanes got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raul Haimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Yosif Gluhchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. George Goyanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Leopoldo Orlandus came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Gaytaninovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Orlandus couldn't finish the play. Raul Haimar kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Gaytaninovo's Avgust Daganov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Gaytaninovo from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Raul Haimar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaytaninovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Haimar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yosif Gluhchev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Zornitsa's Teodor Minchev got a free kick in the 78th minute. Gaytaninovo's Vaklin Geshakov couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zornitsa. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Goyanes in the 82nd minute of play forced Zornitsa's goalkeeper Yosif Gluhchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Goyanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yosif Gluhchev having to interfere. In the 89th minute Leopoldo Orlandus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yosif Gluhchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Slavi Stamboliyski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Avgust Daganov made a huge save. When the final whistle went the supporters of Zornitsa were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Gaytaninovo side.
