When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vesko Velev made a kick off. Spiro Dinev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Encho Kiselinchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lokomotion getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Zhelyo Kiradzhiev hit a great ball. Lokomotion's Igor Tarandzhiyski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Lokomotion from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Lokomotion's Igor Tarandzhiyski got control of the ball when Iliyan Gyonov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vladimir Elenski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Igor Tarandzhiyski made a huge save. The Lokomotion fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ливърпул ФК were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
