With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tenyo Lozanov in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Galabin Zamfirov saved Yuzbek from getting behind. After having played for 10 minutes, Pavel Súlov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ботев's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Súlov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Yuzbek's Simeon Krahtov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yanaki Gorbanov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Yuzbek's Omurtag Notov in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Ботев's goalie prevented a goal. Yanaki Gorbanov made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Simeon Krahtov sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FC Ботев booed when Yuzbek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delcho Sofronov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavel Súlov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Galabin Zamfirov having to make a save. Galabin Zamfirov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tenyo Lozanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Tenyo Lozanov notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Yuzbek's Galabin Zamfirov. Galabin Zamfirov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yuzbek's Simeon Krahtov got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, FC Ботев's goalkeeper Yanaki Gorbanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simeon Krahtov. Yuzbek's Galabin Zamfirov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Súlov in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omurtag Notov to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Benislav Ralchovski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ботев and the Yuzbek players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Ботев's Benislav Ralchovski got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Galabin Zamfirov came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ботев's Tenyo Lozanov. But to his dismay, Tenyo Lozanov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Galabin Zamfirov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Súlov, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Grisha Inkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tenyo Lozanov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Galabin Zamfirov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Pavel Súlov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yuzbek's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Tenyo Lozanov scored to the left of an out of position Galabin Zamfirov, making the score, 2-3. After 85 minutes of play, FC Ботев's Tenyo Lozanov made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Galabin Zamfirov was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Yuzbek defense, Tenyo Lozanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Galabin Zamfirov. The Yuzbek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Galabin Zamfirov should have stopped the shot. Dido Tzotzev hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Bozhin Mavrodinov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Galabin Zamfirov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Galabin Zamfirov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Súlov in the 94th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Ботев walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
