Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yuli Blagiev started the match with the kick off. When Asparuh Bubov fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tigers of Bistritsa's protests and gave Asparuh Bubov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tigers of Bistritsa getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Asparuh Bubov hit a great ball. After 8 minutes, Yuli Blagiev made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Ботев's Yanaki Gorbanov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Yanaki Gorbanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuli Blagiev in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Ботев booed when Tigers of Bistritsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuli Blagiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tzvetomir Bostandzhiev during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Ботев booed when Tigers of Bistritsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzvetomir Bostandzhiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bozhin Mavrodinov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Ботев fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Tigers of Bistritsa a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yuli Blagiev, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Ботев's Yanaki Gorbanov. 0-2. 25 minutes into the match, FC Ботев's goal looked a bit too open when Yuli Blagiev came free, but Yanaki Gorbanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Yuli Blagiev put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Yanaki Gorbanov. The audience was convinced that Yuli Blagiev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yanaki Gorbanov was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. FC Ботев's Yanaki Gorbanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuli Blagiev in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Tigers of Bistritsa got a freekick which was hit by Subin Panicherski. Yuli Blagiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanaki Gorbanov having to interfere. After the first half Tigers of Bistritsa were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tenyo Lozanov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yuli Blagiev in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yanaki Gorbanov saved FC Ботев from getting behind. Tzonko Dechkov kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Pavel Súlov kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuli Blagiev got free with Yanaki Gorbanov in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tigers of Bistritsa's Yuli Blagiev was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Yuli Blagiev struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Yanaki Gorbanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tigers of Bistritsa. Benislav Ralchovski hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Lyubcho Simidzhiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tenyo Lozanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Asparuh Bubov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yuli Blagiev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Yanaki Gorbanov made a huge save. After having played for 93 minutes, Yuli Blagiev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigers of Bistritsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuli Blagiev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Tigers of Bistritsa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Ботев.
