Simeon Krahtov's late challenge caught a FC GRANIT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simeon Krahtov helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Yuzbek's Simeon Krahtov got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute, Haralampi Maystorov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Galabin Zamfirov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haralampi Maystorov in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Yuzbek's goal looked a bit too open when Tervel Keremidchiev came free, but Galabin Zamfirov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lazar Kerinski fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yuzbek's protests and gave Lazar Kerinski a yellow card for diving instead. Lazar Kerinski hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC GRANIT booed when Yuzbek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lazar Kerinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Yuzbek's Grisha Inkov got a free kick in the 21st minute. Haralampi Maystorov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Galabin Zamfirov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Haralampi Maystorov made a precise shot to the right of Galabin Zamfirov. Yuzbek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Blagoy Kúrdzhilov fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yuzbek's protests and gave Blagoy Kúrdzhilov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Blagoy Kúrdzhilov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yuzbek's Galabin Zamfirov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidyo Variyski in the 35th minute of play. Galabin Zamfirov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tervel Keremidchiev went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Galabin Zamfirov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoto Dzherekarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tervel Keremidchiev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Galabin Zamfirov having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haralampi Maystorov was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Yuzbek's goal looked a bit too open when Haralampi Maystorov came free, but Galabin Zamfirov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germain Tissandier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omurtag Notov in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC GRANIT's Slavi Gaydarski got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Galabin Zamfirov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tervel Keremidchiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute Tervel Keremidchiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galabin Zamfirov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute Grisha Inkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germain Tissandier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Omurtag Notov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yuzbek and the FC GRANIT players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Yuzbek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omurtag Notov to maneuver through the defense. Haralampi Maystorov was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tomislav Shirkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galabin Zamfirov having to interfere. Galabin Zamfirov was a little too slow when Tervel Keremidchiev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-3. The Yuzbek fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC GRANIT were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
