Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Omurtag Notov started the match with the kick off. Pancho Vladislavov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omurtag Notov in the 4th minute of play. After 7 minutes, Lazar Kerinski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yuzbek and the CSKA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Yuzbek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazar Kerinski to maneuver through the defense. Vergil Stiptzarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Galabin Zamfirov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Adalbert Gaydardzhiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galabin Zamfirov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vergil Stiptzarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Galabin Zamfirov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vergil Stiptzarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galabin Zamfirov having to interfere. When Vergil Stiptzarov came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the CSKA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vergil Stiptzarov couldn't finish the play. Omurtag Notov struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Pancho Vladislavov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yuzbek. Delcho Sofronov charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delcho Sofronov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lazar Kerinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Omurtag Notov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yuzbek's supporters rose to their feet, but Omurtag Notov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pancho Vladislavov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vergil Stiptzarov took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Galabin Zamfirov. Galabin Zamfirov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to CSKA getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Stoimen Shipchanov hit a great ball. When Branislav Salapiev fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yuzbek's protests and gave Branislav Salapiev a yellow card for diving instead. Omurtag Notov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Pancho Vladislavov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind CSKA's goalkeeper Pancho Vladislavov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Yuzbek players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CSKA were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adalbert Gaydardzhiev made a kick off. Vergil Stiptzarov kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. During the 66th minute of the match Lazar Kerinski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lazar Kerinski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 67th match minute, Yuzbek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazar Kerinski to maneuver through the defense. Vergil Stiptzarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Galabin Zamfirov made a huge save. In the 73rd minute, Branislav Salapiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vergil Stiptzarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galabin Zamfirov having to interfere. The supporters of Yuzbek booed when CSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lulcho Gyudzhenov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Vergil Stiptzarov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Yuzbek's zone, Adalbert Gaydardzhiev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Galabin Zamfirov came out of the goal and Adalbert Gaydardzhiev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, CSKA's Adalbert Gaydardzhiev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Galabin Zamfirov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CSKA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
