Shudekovtsu's Svilen Kirov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalbert Gaydardzhiev in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shudekovtsu's goalkeeper Svilen Kirov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Adalbert Gaydardzhiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kuncho Dushkin's late challenge caught a Shudekovtsu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kuncho Dushkin helped the player get up and apologised. Svilen Kirov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalbert Gaydardzhiev in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simo Kunov to strike the kick off in the second half. Vergil Stiptzarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svilen Kirov having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Kuncho Dushkin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Shudekovtsu's goal looked a bit too open when Adalbert Gaydardzhiev came free, but Svilen Kirov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simo Kunov in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pancho Vladislavov saved CSKA from getting behind. 81 minutes into the match, Adalbert Gaydardzhiev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Svilen Kirov, 0-2. A collision led to Shudekovtsu getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Neycho Otashliyski hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Tishev came free, but Pancho Vladislavov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simo Kunov took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pancho Vladislavov. Pancho Vladislavov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neycho Otashliyski during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Shudekovtsu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neycho Otashliyski to maneuver through the defense. The Shudekovtsu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CSKA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
