An unexpectedly hard shot by Hristofor Tzalov in the 32nd minute of play forced Chelsea FC's goalkeeper Filippo Cappucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Nayden Simidchiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigor Domovchiyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nayden Simidchiev was the one to do the kick off. When Zhelyazko Buzin came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Chelsea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhelyazko Buzin couldn't finish the play. If Nayden Simidchiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC ArchAngel 8807 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Manol Petkov hit a great ball. After 65 minutes, Tencho Belchev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC ArchAngel 8807 and the Chelsea FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tencho Belchev kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Tencho Belchev was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. FC ArchAngel 8807's Grigor Domovchiyski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save FC ArchAngel 8807 from getting a goal against them. Zhelyazko Buzin might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grigor Domovchiyski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhelyazko Buzin ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Chelsea FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC ArchAngel 8807.
