Arso Kaytazov started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Belcho Hlebarov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bozhidar Vladislavov, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Belcho Hlebarov put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bozhidar Vladislavov. 14 minutes into the game, Belcho Hlebarov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bozhidar Vladislavov. Belcho Hlebarov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 19th match minute, ЦСКА was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venko Loginov to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milko Shalganov in the 23rd minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Anzhelo Gerushin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anzhelo Gerushin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arso Kaytazov in the 32nd minute of play. Anzhelo Gerushin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arso Kaytazov in the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, CSKA Rusenovtsi's Bozhidar Vladislavov got control of the ball when Belcho Hlebarov tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, CSKA Rusenovtsi's goal looked a bit too open when Lyuboslav Popinski came free, but Bozhidar Vladislavov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stoyan Dapkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anzhelo Gerushin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stoyan Dapkov ran back to his position shaking his head. Galabin Golomeev kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Belcho Hlebarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Bozhidar Vladislavov made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Belcho Hlebarov made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Trayko Trendafilov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ЦСКА and the CSKA Rusenovtsi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bogdan Belberov hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Arso Kaytazov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Anzhelo Gerushin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ЦСКА's Anzhelo Gerushin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save ЦСКА from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, CSKA Rusenovtsi's goal looked a bit too open when Belcho Hlebarov came free, but Bozhidar Vladislavov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Rusenovtsi's zone, Belcho Hlebarov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bozhidar Vladislavov came out of the goal and Belcho Hlebarov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the game, Milko Shalganov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSKA Rusenovtsi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ЦСКА the free kick. Belcho Hlebarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Bozhidar Vladislavov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belcho Hlebarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bozhidar Vladislavov having to interfere. In the 78th minute Belcho Hlebarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bozhidar Vladislavov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bozhidar Vladislavov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belcho Hlebarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Ivelin Ananiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ЦСКА's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
