With an all-out effort, CSKA Dec's Slavi Sandov threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iliyan Múrhov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 72nd minute, Yancho Orlov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute of the match Nikolay Karapetrov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Slavi Sandov skillfully saved the ball. The ФК Червено знаме fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Slavi Sandov should have stopped the shot. Boris Shalev took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Slavi Sandov. Slavi Sandov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Dragomir Enkov hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match.
