Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) GUNDI-1974's Kurt Roeters started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ignat Penov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Hristofor Chatalbashev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC JomeL's goalkeeper Hristofor Chatalbashev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 8 played minutes GUNDI-1974 got a freekick which was hit by Ignat Penov. After having played for 10 minutes, Ignat Penov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GUNDI-1974's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignat Penov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute Lulcho Simonski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Starogardzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, GUNDI-1974's Ignat Penov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kurt Roeters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hristofor Chatalbashev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Stasio Starogardzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lulcho Simonski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC JomeL booed when GUNDI-1974 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignat Penov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trendafil Radlov hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Roeters in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hristofor Chatalbashev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GUNDI-1974 fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC JomeL had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
