The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kamen Zhilkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Hristofor Lichev notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ФК Червено знаме's Slavi Sandov. Slavi Sandov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tihomir Rasolkov kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes FC JomeL got a freekick which was hit by Kiril Karaburov. In the 16th minute Petar Vutov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hristofor Chatalbashev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, FC JomeL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyan Filchovski to maneuver through the defense. Kiril Karaburov kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. ФК Червено знаме's Slavi Sandov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladko Karaenev in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, FC JomeL's goal looked a bit too open when Yoan Gitev came free, but Hristofor Chatalbashev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragomir Enkov in the 31st minute of play forced FC JomeL's goalkeeper Hristofor Chatalbashev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, ФК Червено знаме was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benislav Trendafilov to maneuver through the defense. After 36 played minutes ФК Червено знаме got a freekick which was hit by Stanoy Tzandev. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Kiril Karaburov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC JomeL's supporters rose to their feet, but Kiril Karaburov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Slavi Sandov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, ФК Червено знаме's goal looked a bit too open when Vladko Karaenev came free, but Slavi Sandov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, ФК Червено знаме was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanoy Tzandev to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in ФК Червено знаме's zone, Vladko Karaenev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Slavi Sandov came out of the goal and Vladko Karaenev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Vladko Karaenev made the kick off in the second half. Slavi Sandov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladko Karaenev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hristofor Lichev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the game, FC JomeL's Hristofor Lichev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Slavi Sandov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. ФК Червено знаме's Adrian Zelenkov was substituted for Stanoy Tzandev. In the 78th match minute, FC JomeL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyan Filchovski to maneuver through the defense. Hristofor Lichev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Yoan Gitev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Lulcho Simonski suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Adrian Zelenkov's late challenge caught a FC JomeL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Zelenkov helped the player get up and apologised. Adrian Zelenkov kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The supporters of FC JomeL booed when ФК Червено знаме was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prodan Rúsovski didn't get a good kick on the ball.
