Strahil Barokov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velichko Funev having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Strahil Barokov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malkite Kristalcheta's supporters rose to their feet, but Strahil Barokov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Velichko Funev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Malkite Kristalcheta's Naum Kontev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nesho Gidikov in the 7th minute of play. If Tencho Gunev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes Malkite Kristalcheta got a freekick which was hit by Subin Bratovanov. In the 21st minute Спартак Кюстендил were awarded a corner. Milcho Maslenkov went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Malkite Kristalcheta's goalie and right to Yoncho Geshkov. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Malkite Kristalcheta's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The attack was good, but when Nesho Gidikov in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Malkite Kristalcheta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Спартак Кюстендил the free kick. The wind increased when Tencho Gunev made the kick off in the second half. Velichko Funev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tencho Gunev's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Anko Damyanski hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Strahil Barokov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velichko Funev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Strahil Barokov in the 64th minute of play forced Спартак Кюстендил's goalkeeper Velichko Funev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naum Kontev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nesho Gidikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69thth minute of the game Strahil Barokov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Спартак Кюстендил's Velichko Funev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Naum Kontev was a little too slow when Nesho Gidikov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-1. The Спартак Кюстендил players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
