FC Tsarevgrad's Svetozar Angelovski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save FC Tsarevgrad from getting a goal against them. Zhecho Strandzhev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miladin Dzhalev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zhecho Strandzhev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milan Hadzhiperev in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Penko Tyutyundzhiev in the 47th minute of play forced Mladinowo's goalkeeper Zhecho Strandzhev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half FC Tsarevgrad were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prodan Púkov was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Milan Hadzhiperev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zhecho Strandzhev. That made the score 1-4 in the 52 minute of play. Zhecho Strandzhev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yani Vidinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Yani Vidinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhecho Strandzhev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svetozar Angelovski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prodan Púkov went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Mladinowo's Miho Zinoviev was substituted for Gruyo Múglov. Penko Tyutyundzhiev scored 3-6 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zhecho Strandzhev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FC Tsarevgrad booed when Mladinowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhecho Gavazov didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Tsarevgrad's Niki Nelov couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mladinowo. Miho Zinoviev charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miho Zinoviev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Mladinowo got a freekick which was hit by Miho Zinoviev. 80 minutes into the match, Mladinowo's goal looked a bit too open when Yani Vidinski came free, but Zhecho Strandzhev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zhecho Strandzhev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milan Hadzhiperev in the 85th minute of the match. If Prodan Púkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
