Ignat Ficherov started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, one of Minior United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Minior United. Serge Rigot had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Mito Gerchev's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Momchil Pushnikov might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serge Rigot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Momchil Pushnikov ran back to his position shaking his head. Mito Gerchev scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serge Rigot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 17 minutes, Tzoko Krachanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minior United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tzoko Krachanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Ilko Margaritov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Valko Etimov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Serge Rigot. The goal made the score 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, MIZIA's goal looked a bit too open when Ignat Ficherov came free, but Krum Zhirov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, MIZIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rusi Chergarov to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Minior United's Sava Komitov got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tzoko Krachanov hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Serge Rigot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Momchil Pushnikov in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mito Gerchev made a kick off. Serge Rigot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rusi Chergarov in the 51st minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Rusi Chergarov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Serge Rigot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rusi Chergarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 70 minutes, Ignat Ficherov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minior United and the MIZIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Ignat Ficherov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Stoimen Danev fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MIZIA's protests and gave Stoimen Danev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, MIZIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stoimen Danev to maneuver through the defense. Krum Zhirov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilko Margaritov, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ignat Ficherov struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Krum Zhirov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minior United. In the 82nd match minute, Minior United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yonko Isaev to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Rusi Chergarov managed to get in a good position for a shot. MIZIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Rusi Chergarov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serge Rigot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stoimen Danev in the 91st minute of play forced Minior United's goalkeeper Serge Rigot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of MIZIA booed when Minior United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Baharov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Ignat Ficherov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
