After 2 played minutes Minior United got a freekick which was hit by Ilko Margaritov. A hard shot 4 in the game by Tenyo Gulev from a close distance when the talented Velichko Funev managed to make a qualified save. Спартак Кюстендил's players were relieved. Yonko Isaev in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Velichko Funev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 7 minutes into the game, Minior United's Yonko Isaev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Velichko Funev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Tenyo Gulev got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tenyo Gulev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Velichko Funev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Minior United's goal looked a bit too open when Grozdan Chervenski came free, but Serge Rigot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yonko Isaev's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Velichko Funev skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Спартак Кюстендил's Anko Damyanski got a free kick in the 15th minute. Спартак Кюстендил's Velichko Funev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignat Ficherov in the 16th minute of play. Ilko Margaritov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Velichko Funev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Minior United's Yonko Isaev got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ilko Margaritov came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Minior United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilko Margaritov couldn't finish the play. Yonko Isaev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velichko Funev having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Ignat Ficherov lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Velichko Funev. Minior United's Ignat Ficherov got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yonko Isaev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Velichko Funev made a huge save. After 37 played minutes Minior United got a freekick which was hit by Ignat Ficherov. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilko Margaritov in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Velichko Funev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tenyo Gulev during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Minior United getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Tenyo Gulev hit a great ball. Velichko Funev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yonko Isaev, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Спартак Кюстендил's Velichko Funev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Спартак Кюстендил from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ignat Ficherov to make the kick off. Velichko Funev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignat Ficherov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Minior United fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Minior United's Yonko Isaev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Minior United's Ignat Ficherov in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Velichko Funev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignat Ficherov in the 70th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Yonko Isaev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Velichko Funev was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Yoncho Geshkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serge Rigot was a little too slow when Grozdan Chervenski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 5-1. After a defensive mix-up in Minior United's zone, Grozdan Chervenski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serge Rigot came out of the goal and Grozdan Chervenski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anko Damyanski kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ilko Margaritov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Velichko Funev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Velichko Funev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignat Ficherov in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Minior United's Yonko Isaev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Velichko Funev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. After having played for 96 minutes, Tenyo Gulev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minior United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tenyo Gulev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Minior United fully deserved thier win.
