Despite this Svetozar Angelovski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Toshko Naplatanov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yani Vidinski in the 5th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Tsarevgrad's Yani Vidinski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Toshko Naplatanov. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. Miladin Dzhalev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Yani Vidinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toshko Naplatanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yani Vidinski in the 28th minute of play forced Durbolar's goalkeeper Toshko Naplatanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yani Vidinski in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toshko Naplatanov saved Durbolar from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asen Manchov to make the kick off. Asen Manchov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svetozar Angelovski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Miladin Dzhalev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toshko Naplatanov having to interfere. Lyudmil Bliznakov charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lyudmil Bliznakov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Tsarevgrad getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. A wasted opportunity for Durbolar. After a defensive mix-up in Durbolar's zone, Miladin Dzhalev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toshko Naplatanov came out of the goal and Miladin Dzhalev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yani Vidinski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toshko Naplatanov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Stavri Voykov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niki Nelov missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 89 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Toshko Naplatanov right hand side. Yani Vidinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toshko Naplatanov having to interfere. FC Tsarevgrad walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
