Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stoyne Nikushev made the kick off and thus started the match. Doncho Manaskov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tzeno Lyutzkanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Doncho Manaskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viden Shumanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doncho Manaskov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viden Shumanov in the 14th minute of the match. Doncho Manaskov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viden Shumanov went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 20 minutes, Dragomir Dodekov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vidrare and the AC Red Bull Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vidrare's Dragomir Dodekov got a free kick in the 20th minute. Vidrare's Doncho Manaskov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitko Masúrski in the 25th minute of play. In the 35th minute Viden Shumanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doncho Manaskov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doncho Manaskov came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Red Bull Stars's Vitko Masúrski. But to his dismay, Vitko Masúrski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Doncho Manaskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitko Masúrski in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Tzeno Lyutzkanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doncho Manaskov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viden Shumanov was the one to do the kick off. Tzeno Lyutzkanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Doncho Manaskov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doncho Manaskov was a little too slow when Viden Shumanov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-4. After 59 played minutes Vidrare got a freekick which was hit by Subin Alichkov. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Doncho Manaskov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 64th minute Vitko Masúrski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doncho Manaskov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Vitko Masúrski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Doncho Manaskov. Vitko Masúrski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. 74 minutes into the match, Vidrare's goal looked a bit too open when Tzeno Lyutzkanov came free, but Doncho Manaskov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogomil Kalfov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Vidrare's goalkeeper Doncho Manaskov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogomil Kalfov. Vitko Masúrski hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Subin Alichkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vidrare's supporters rose to their feet, but Subin Alichkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tervel Peychinov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Vidrare's Subin Alichkov got a free kick in the 86th minute. When Bogomil Kalfov came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the AC Red Bull Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogomil Kalfov couldn't finish the play. Viden Shumanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Vidrare's zone, Viden Shumanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doncho Manaskov came out of the goal and Viden Shumanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded AC Red Bull Stars left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vidrare.
