AC Red Bull Stars's Theirn Blake couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CSKA Stokite. After 13 minutes of play, AC Red Bull Stars's Manaf Cälalov made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladko Trendafilov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toshko Dashov in the 18th minute. Krastyo Novkov lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. CSKA Stokite's Grozdan Gúlov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theirn Blake in the 21st minute of play. Manaf Cälalov took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grozdan Gúlov. Grozdan Gúlov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Tzeno Lyutzkanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grozdan Gúlov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Antoni Pisanov succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 37th playminute. In the 45th minute, Vitko Masúrski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladko Trendafilov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhan Bozhanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The CSKA Stokite players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AC Red Bull Stars were winning 1-2.

When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Toshko Dashov sped through AC Red Bull Stars's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vladko Trendafilov. The supporters of AC Red Bull Stars booed when CSKA Stokite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhan Bozhanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theirn Blake in the 68th minute of play forced CSKA Stokite's goalkeeper Grozdan Gúlov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bratan Bukov charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bratan Bukov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Grozdan Gúlov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Theirn Blake in the 70th minute. Vladko Trendafilov came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by CSKA Stokite's Antoni Pisanov. But to his dismay, Antoni Pisanov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 76th minute, Antoni Pisanov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSKA Stokite fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 80th minute of the match, Theirn Blake tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Grozdan Gúlov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 81 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when CSKA Stokite's Antoni Pisanov fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Vladko Trendafilov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhan Bozhanski in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Tzeno Lyutzkanov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Grozdan Gúlov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matey Metzov's late challenge caught a CSKA Stokite's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matey Metzov helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AC Red Bull Stars getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Matey Metzov hit a great ball.
