The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Velichko Dungarov fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Namiq Zülfüqarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Poniewaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinko Chandrev took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Namiq Zülfüqarov. Namiq Zülfüqarov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Dinko Chandrev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 35 minutes of play, SKYTEAM's Olaf Poniewaz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Namiq Zülfüqarov was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Siymen booed when SKYTEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stavri Gyumyushev didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes in the game İsa Ertüze got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. After the first half SKYTEAM were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olaf Poniewaz made a kick off. Alexey Krosnev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Velichko Dungarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Namiq Zülfüqarov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nayden Dzhalev in the 58th minute. Namiq Zülfüqarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Poniewaz in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Olaf Poniewaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Dinko Chandrev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Namiq Zülfüqarov. The goal made the score 0-5. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Dinko Chandrev took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Namiq Zülfüqarov to make any attempt to save it. Olaf Poniewaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Namiq Zülfüqarov having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Siymen's goalkeeper Namiq Zülfüqarov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nayden Dzhalev. Namiq Zülfüqarov stood somewhat misplaced when Olaf Poniewaz came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 77 minute. Dinko Chandrev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Namiq Zülfüqarov came out and tried to block the shot, but Dinko Chandrev slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 83rd minute. Olaf Poniewaz took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Namiq Zülfüqarov. Namiq Zülfüqarov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. SKYTEAM's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
