The Siymen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Namiq Zülfüqarov should have stopped the shot. The CSKA Stokite fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when CSKA Stokite's Alek Gúbev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Namiq Zülfüqarov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Pisanov in the 17th minute of play. Namiq Zülfüqarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alek Gúbev in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Velichko Dungarov fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Grisha Stanilov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd match minute, CSKA Stokite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhan Bozhanski to maneuver through the defense. Yanek Markovski kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Dinko Ralchovski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Namiq Zülfüqarov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Antoni Pisanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Siymen's Namiq Zülfüqarov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 31 played minutes CSKA Stokite got a freekick which was hit by Zhan Bozhanski. After having played for 39 minutes, Antoni Pisanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA Stokite's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antoni Pisanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alek Gúbev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Namiq Zülfüqarov having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Siymen's Presiyan Dzhamov got a free kick in the 45th minute. Namiq Zülfüqarov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alek Gúbev in the 47th minute of play. After the first half CSKA Stokite were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alek Gúbev was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Antoni Pisanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Namiq Zülfüqarov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Toshko Dashov hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. CSKA Stokite's Grozdan Gúlov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grisha Stanilov in the 59th minute of play. Antoni Pisanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Siymen's Stoyadin Prashtilski got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Siymen getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Milcho Penelov hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhan Bozhanski in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Namiq Zülfüqarov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Siymen's zone, Alek Gúbev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Namiq Zülfüqarov came out of the goal and Alek Gúbev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Siymen defense, Alek Gúbev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Namiq Zülfüqarov. Siymen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSKA Stokite the free kick. A collision led to Siymen getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Velichko Dungarov hit a great ball. Alek Gúbev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoni Pisanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Namiq Zülfüqarov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antoni Pisanov succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Antoni Pisanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over CSKA Stokite could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Siymen throughout the match.
