The audience thought a goal was coming when Grisha Stanilov got free with Ivelin Poryazov in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 minutes of play, Serdika Football Academy's Stefan Godzhev made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Namiq Zülfüqarov was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Stoil Vúlev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Namiq Zülfüqarov was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The supporters of Siymen booed when Serdika Football Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Godzhev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Velichko Dungarov to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Stefan Godzhev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serdika Football Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Godzhev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Namiq Zülfüqarov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stefan Godzhev might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Namiq Zülfüqarov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siymen's Namiq Zülfüqarov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Siymen from getting a goal against them. Stefan Godzhev charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Godzhev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
