In the 8th minute, FC Tundja's Mladen Gugovski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Minko Roshkev's late challenge caught a FC Tundja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Minko Roshkev helped the player get up and apologised. Minko Roshkev hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Jason Roberts scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zhelyazko Karaganchev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Blackburn Rovers FC's Argir Badelov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zhelyazko Karaganchev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Tzanyo Yadkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Brad Friedel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blackburn Rovers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Blackburn Rovers FC's Brad Friedel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mladen Gugovski in the 58th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Mladen Gugovski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Tundja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 96th minute, Zhecho Valyavicharski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brad Friedel was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. FC Tundja were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Blackburn Rovers FC for a fine match.
