Martin Vaskov started the match with the kick off. Yuli Kúrpachev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vergil Karamfilov having to interfere. Mario Mirazchiyski struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Vergil Karamfilov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Левски София 1914. After a rather tough play, FC MINYOR PK's Miladin Sinigerov got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute, Dragan Tzoykov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vergil Karamfilov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vergil Karamfilov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuli Kúrpachev in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Mirazchiyski in the 28th minute of play forced FC MINYOR PK's goalkeeper Vergil Karamfilov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Dragan Tzoykov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Левски София 1914's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dragan Tzoykov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Левски София 1914's Dragan Tzoykov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vergil Karamfilov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 44th minute, Dragan Tzoykov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Левски София 1914 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Mirazchiyski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Левски София 1914's Dragan Tzoykov got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Левски София 1914's zone, Ancho Masov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhecho Vidulov came out of the goal and Ancho Masov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 minutes, Dilyan Vezirski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Левски София 1914 and the FC MINYOR PK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dilyan Vezirski hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Miladin Sinigerov charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miladin Sinigerov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC MINYOR PK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Miladin Sinigerov hit a great ball. When Dragan Tzoykov came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Левски София 1914 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragan Tzoykov couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Gercho Dragomanski in the 96th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Левски София 1914's Velin Zagarov. The FC MINYOR PK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Левски София 1914 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
