Stancho Leshtanski kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th match minute, FC Sarniza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asparuh Vlúchkov to maneuver through the defense. If Dragan Tzoykov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragan Tzoykov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gercho Vodenicharski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, FC Sarniza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gancho Goryanov to maneuver through the defense. Zhecho Vidulov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asparuh Vlúchkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Dragan Tzoykov in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Yuli Kúrpachev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Gercho Vodenicharski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 24 minutes of play, Левски София 1914's Dragan Tzoykov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gercho Vodenicharski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zhecho Vidulov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodor Vutov went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Zhecho Vidulov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vihren Kandov, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Dragan Tzoykov might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gercho Vodenicharski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dragan Tzoykov ran back to his position shaking his head. After 37 played minutes Левски София 1914 got a freekick which was hit by Velin Zagarov. Gercho Vodenicharski was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Dragan Tzoykov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dragan Tzoykov really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Mario Mirazchiyski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gercho Vodenicharski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Vihren Kandov made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Mario Mirazchiyski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Левски София 1914's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Mirazchiyski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gercho Vodenicharski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vihren Kandov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Gercho Vodenicharski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 69th minute, Dragan Tzoykov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gercho Vodenicharski was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Gercho Vodenicharski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuli Kúrpachev, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gancho Goryanov during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Sarniza getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gancho Goryanov hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Левски София 1914's Yuli Kúrpachev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gercho Vodenicharski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gercho Vodenicharski came out of the goal and Yuli Kúrpachev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Левски София 1914 were the better team. Левски София 1914's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
