With a little luck, FC Sarniza's Gercho Vodenicharski got control of the ball when Valeri Novkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute Roman Spiridonov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gercho Vodenicharski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes Teofan Bunev rounded FC Sarniza's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Bocho Draev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Vutov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Sarniza booed when FK Ronaldo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Daganov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodor Vutov succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Vihren Kandov scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bocho Draev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valeri Novkov was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. FK Ronaldo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Valeri Novkov succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 40th playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

FK Ronaldo's Bocho Draev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save FK Ronaldo from getting a goal against them. The goalkeeper, Bocho Draev, was totally fooled by FC Sarniza's Stancho Leshtanski, who 64 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Teodor Vutov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bocho Draev firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Teofan Bunev sped through FC Sarniza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gercho Vodenicharski. Roman Spiridonov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
