None of the them looked very eager to play. 邱悦弘 started the match with the kick off. Hristiyan Milakiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 邱悦弘 in the 4th minute of play. Edvin Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Kataluncite's goal looked a bit too open when Ilixo Abeita came free, but Hristiyan Milakiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, LIGHTNING's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nano Vútev fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Kiril Grozlekov fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kataluncite's protests and gave Kiril Grozlekov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Kataluncite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiril Grozlekov to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilixo Abeita in the 28th minute of play forced Kataluncite's goalkeeper Hristiyan Milakiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes, Christodoulos Koutsodimos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kataluncite and the LIGHTNING players grew even worse after the yellow card. 邱悦弘 took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hristiyan Milakiev. Hristiyan Milakiev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Toni Kyurtev kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, 邱悦弘 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hristiyan Milakiev was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. LIGHTNING's Stepan Bandera got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kataluncite's Nano Vútev got a free kick in the 44th minute. Kataluncite's Hristiyan Milakiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilixo Abeita in the 46th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, 邱悦弘 put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Hristiyan Milakiev. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 53 played minutes Kataluncite got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Lundin. 邱悦弘 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Hristiyan Milakiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of LIGHTNING booed when Kataluncite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Czapski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hristiyan Milakiev came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by LIGHTNING's Stepan Bandera. But to his dismay, Stepan Bandera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Hristiyan Milakiev made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when 邱悦弘 sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Kataluncite's goalkeeper Hristiyan Milakiev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 邱悦弘. 62 minutes into the match, Kataluncite's Edvin Lundin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agesilaus Michalaras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Kataluncite got a freekick which was hit by Kiril Grozlekov. The audience thought a goal was coming when 邱悦弘 got free with Hristiyan Milakiev in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Rebiyana Bawono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, LIGHTNING's 邱悦弘 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hristiyan Milakiev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After a rather tough play, LIGHTNING's Rebiyana Bawono got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when 邱悦弘 got free with Hristiyan Milakiev in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hristiyan Milakiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilixo Abeita in the 84th minute of the match. Emenon Canosa kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Toni Kyurtev hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Hristiyan Milakiev was a little too slow when Ilixo Abeita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-8. If Stepan Bandera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of LIGHTNING booed when Kataluncite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiril Grozlekov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Kataluncite's goal looked a bit too open when 邱悦弘 came free, but Hristiyan Milakiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LIGHTNING played a much better game than Kataluncite and deserved their victory. The Kataluncite players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
