Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hristiyan Lakov ran back to his position shaking his head. 3 minutes in the game, Benny Salah dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benny Salah in the 7th minute of play forced FC Shadows's goalkeeper Georgi Gerasimov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Lauta Army's Benny Salah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Georgi Gerasimov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lauta Army's Benny Salah got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Georgi Gerasimov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny Salah in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Lauta Army's Benny Salah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 28th play minutes Benny Salah shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Georgi Gerasimov and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, FC Shadows's Vanko Tzvetanski got a free kick in the 30th minute. Hristiyan Lakov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lauta Army's Benny Salah in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Shadows's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Hristiyan Lakov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lauta Army's supporters rose to their feet, but Hristiyan Lakov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georgi Gerasimov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the game, Viden Predyov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Shadows's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lauta Army the free kick. The supporters of Lauta Army booed when FC Shadows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viden Predyov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Georgi Gerasimov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benny Salah's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Benny Salah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Shadows's Georgi Gerasimov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hristiyan Lakov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Georgi Gerasimov having to make a save. Georgi Gerasimov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Salah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Dancho Súrbinov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benny Salah in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Georgi Gerasimov saved FC Shadows from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benny Salah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd play minute Benny Salah came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Georgi Gerasimov. 0-4. When Hristiyan Lakov fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lauta Army's protests and gave Hristiyan Lakov a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lauta Army's Hristiyan Lakov got a free kick in the 56th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Hristiyan Lakov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lauta Army's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hristiyan Lakov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hristiyan Lakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Georgi Gerasimov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Hristiyan Lakov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Benny Salah took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Georgi Gerasimov to make any attempt to save it. Benny Salah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the FC Shadows defense, Benny Salah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Georgi Gerasimov. The FC Shadows fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Georgi Gerasimov should have stopped the shot. Marcial Meder was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Parvan Konev fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Shadows's protests and gave Parvan Konev a yellow card for diving instead. Parvan Konev hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Benny Salah took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Georgi Gerasimov. Georgi Gerasimov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. After some careless play in the FC Shadows defense, Benny Salah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Georgi Gerasimov. The FC Shadows fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Georgi Gerasimov should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Lauta Army left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Shadows.
