Spectators: 7838 (Terracing: 5985, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 103) FC Köln's Gercho Kúrdzhov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 2 minutes, Venko Mednev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selishteto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venko Mednev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gogo Arano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Gogo Arano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blagoy Anachkov was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the game, Selishteto's Sadri Heper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blagoy Anachkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the FC Köln defense, Sadri Heper kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blagoy Anachkov. The FC Köln fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blagoy Anachkov should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute Venko Mednev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blagoy Anachkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gercho Kúrdzhov was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. FC Köln's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Dragolyub Gúrdanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes of play, Selishteto's Sadri Heper made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blagoy Anachkov was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Selishteto were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gogo Arano made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Selishteto were awarded a corner. Hamad Al Dabos went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Hamad Al Dabos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Blagoy Anachkov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sadri Heper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blagoy Anachkov having to interfere. When Sadri Heper came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Selishteto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sadri Heper couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Paun Kamenski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Köln getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Dragolyub Gúrdanov hit a great ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Gercho Kúrdzhov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Köln's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gercho Kúrdzhov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Selishteto's Gogo Arano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Blagoy Anachkov. Blagoy Anachkov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jiang Ling Wei during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Köln booed when Selishteto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiang Ling Wei didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sadri Heper got free with Blagoy Anachkov in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 played minutes Selishteto got a freekick which was hit by Iliyan Haladzhov. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Selishteto had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
