Aleko Saltirov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zahari Pisanov firmly grabbed it by the left post. 5 minutes into the match, Ruskovtsu's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Panikowski came free, but Zahari Pisanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zahari Pisanov came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by ФК Свиленград 1921's Aleko Saltirov. But to his dismay, Aleko Saltirov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Aleko Saltirov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Zahari Pisanov made a huge save. In the 16th minute, Ivo Radushev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stoyne Kadiev hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Zahari Pisanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arso Dragnev, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Mihail Panikowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zahari Pisanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stoyne Kadiev hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Zahari Pisanov came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by ФК Свиленград 1921's Penko Shalafov. But to his dismay, Penko Shalafov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Penko Shalafov got free with Zahari Pisanov in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Panikowski in the 34th minute of play forced Ruskovtsu's goalkeeper Zahari Pisanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes ФК Свиленград 1921 got a freekick which was hit by Lyuben Partinov. ФК Свиленград 1921's Yuli Borshukov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ganyo Serbezov in the 37th minute of play. Mihail Panikowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Zahari Pisanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arso Dragnev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zahari Pisanov made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Aleko Saltirov sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the game, ФК Свиленград 1921's Arso Dragnev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zahari Pisanov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mihail Panikowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zahari Pisanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleko Saltirov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 60 minutes, Penko Shalafov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ФК Свиленград 1921's supporters crossed their fingers, but Penko Shalafov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihail Panikowski scored 4-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zahari Pisanov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chavdar Kostov hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. ФК Свиленград 1921's Yuli Borshukov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save ФК Свиленград 1921 from getting a goal against them. When Arso Dragnev fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ФК Свиленград 1921's protests and gave Arso Dragnev a yellow card for diving instead. Arso Dragnev hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Zahari Pisanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arso Dragnev in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of ФК Свиленград 1921 booed when Ruskovtsu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Radushev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zahari Pisanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleko Saltirov, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When ФК Свиленград 1921's Aleko Saltirov in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ruskovtsu's goalie prevented a goal. Mihail Panikowski struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Zahari Pisanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ФК Свиленград 1921. 89 minutes into the match, Ruskovtsu's goal looked a bit too open when Arso Dragnev came free, but Zahari Pisanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruskovtsu's Zahari Pisanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Panikowski in the 90th minute of play. If Danail Mustakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ФК Свиленград 1921 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ruskovtsu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
