The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zanko Randev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleko Saltirov in the 52nd minute of play forced Tottenham Hotspur F.C.'s goalkeeper Radko Pozharliev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Cavaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuli Borshukov having to interfere. The supporters of Tottenham Hotspur F.C. booed when ФК Свиленград 1921 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chavdar Kostov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tottenham Hotspur F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
