Spectators: 7386 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mihail Panikowski started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleko Saltirov in the 5th minute of play forced CSKA Belopopzi's goalkeeper Nesho Daskalov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viden Tishinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lyuben Partinov fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ФК Свиленград 1921's protests and gave Lyuben Partinov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ФК Свиленград 1921 getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Lyuben Partinov hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Aleko Saltirov made a precise shot to the right of Nesho Daskalov. CSKA Belopopzi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 18th minute, Mihail Panikowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nesho Daskalov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Yuli Borshukov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Raykovski in the 25th minute of play. After 25 played minutes ФК Свиленград 1921 got a freekick which was hit by Radoy Bakrachev. In the 27th minute, Viden Tishinov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viden Tishinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuli Borshukov having to interfere. Viden Tishinov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Yuli Borshukov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Aleko Saltirov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nesho Daskalov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nesho Daskalov came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by ФК Свиленград 1921's Arso Dragnev. But to his dismay, Arso Dragnev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. CSKA Belopopzi's Nesho Daskalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Panikowski in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute Arso Dragnev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nesho Daskalov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tencho Mashalov's late challenge caught a ФК Свиленград 1921's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tencho Mashalov helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 played minutes CSKA Belopopzi got a freekick which was hit by Tencho Mashalov.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viden Tishinov to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Aleko Saltirov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ФК Свиленград 1921's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleko Saltirov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Arso Dragnev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSKA Belopopzi's Nesho Daskalov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Viden Tishinov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuli Borshukov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Raykovski in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, CSKA Belopopzi's Nesho Daskalov got control of the ball when Aleko Saltirov tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arso Dragnev got free with Nesho Daskalov in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 82 minutes of play, ФК Свиленград 1921's Aleko Saltirov made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nesho Daskalov was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the CSKA Belopopzi defense, Aleko Saltirov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nesho Daskalov. The CSKA Belopopzi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nesho Daskalov should have stopped the shot. CSKA Belopopzi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Arso Dragnev scored to the left of an out of position Nesho Daskalov, making the score, 0-8. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ФК Свиленград 1921 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
