Spectators: 7964 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1864, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ognyan Kurudzhiev got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Novoselo's Matias Montoro got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 3 minutes, Bone Zhablyanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Novoselo and the FC Gurbanovtsi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Gurbanovtsi booed when Novoselo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bone Zhablyanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Timur Achuev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Novoselo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimir Doykin should have stopped the shot. Severino Camerino hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, FC Gurbanovtsi's Nedko Vatov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimir Doykin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 20th minute Nedko Vatov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Doykin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimir Doykin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyuben Mitrakiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, FC Gurbanovtsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timur Achuev to maneuver through the defense. After the first half FC Gurbanovtsi were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaac Lawrence to strike the kick off in the second half. Vladimir Doykin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ognyan Kurudzhiev in the 51st minute. Vladimir Doykin came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Gurbanovtsi's Nedko Vatov. But to his dismay, Nedko Vatov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 55 minutes into the game, Trifon Stolarov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vladimir Doykin. Trifon Stolarov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Novoselo's Vladimir Doykin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedko Vatov in the 61st minute of play. Bone Rochev charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bone Rochev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes FC Gurbanovtsi got a freekick which was hit by Bone Rochev. 71 minutes into the game, FC Gurbanovtsi's Ognyan Kurudzhiev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimir Doykin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. 75 minutes into the game, Ognyan Kurudzhiev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Vladimir Doykin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Novoselo's Vladimir Doykin got control of the ball when Nedko Vatov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vladimir Doykin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timur Achuev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trifon Stolarov succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-8. Novoselo's Krasen Georgov was substituted for Isaac Lawrence. Vladimir Doykin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ognyan Kurudzhiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 played minutes Novoselo got a freekick which was hit by Nenad Højsted. Vladimir Doykin was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Trifon Stolarov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Trifon Stolarov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-10. FC Gurbanovtsi played a much better game than Novoselo and deserved their victory. The Novoselo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
