The Everton F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Everton F.C.'s Severin Dzhonev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dimitar Vladimirov hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Nesho Yakovov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nikifor Shukadarov. Nesho Yakovov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 20 minutes into the game, Alexey Spahiyski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nikifor Shukadarov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Everton F.C.'s Nikifor Shukadarov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Everton F.C. from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Severin Dzhonev sped through Ruzhevo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valeri Potzkov. Dimitar Vladimirov kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severin Dzhonev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nikifor Shukadarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexey Spahiyski in the 53rd minute of the match. Nikifor Shukadarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belcho Totev, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nesho Yakovov in the 56th minute of play forced Everton F.C.'s goalkeeper Nikifor Shukadarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Severin Dzhonev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Alexey Spahiyski notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Everton F.C.'s Nikifor Shukadarov. Nikifor Shukadarov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rolf Andberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes in the game, Severin Dzhonev fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valeri Potzkov having to interfere. Severin Dzhonev took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valeri Potzkov. Valeri Potzkov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. A hard shot 73 in the game by Severin Dzhonev from a close distance when the talented Valeri Potzkov managed to make a qualified save. Ruzhevo's players were relieved. Hugo Castillo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Valeri Potzkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Everton F.C.. Ruzhevo's Valeri Potzkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severin Dzhonev in the 76th minute of play. Severin Dzhonev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Valeri Potzkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Ruzhevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arhangel Yovev to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Alexey Spahiyski notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Everton F.C.'s Nikifor Shukadarov. Nikifor Shukadarov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the match, Everton F.C.'s Hugo Castillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valeri Potzkov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Everton F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ruzhevo.
