Erdoğan Özdoru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lin Feng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. FC varnateam were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after 1.CSKA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ivan Marinovski took the corner. Ivan Marinovski made a great header on FC varnateam's corner, it was just that 1.CSKA's Lin Feng managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in FC varnateam's zone, Slavyan Matzev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tzeno Miletiev came out of the goal and Slavyan Matzev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lin Feng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velin Choparinov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krister Alebeck made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Velin Choparinov however managed to control. Lin Feng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velin Choparinov in the 22nd minute of the match. Krister Alebeck made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 1.CSKA's Alexander Dikanarov. After 27 played minutes FC varnateam got a freekick which was hit by Erdoğan Özdoru. 1.CSKA's Alexander Dikanarov managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Krister Alebeck in the 32 minute of the game. If Alexander Dikanarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute of the match FC varnateam got a corner. 1.CSKA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivan Marinovski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC varnateam's Albert Dzherekarov to fire away a dangerous shot which Lin Feng despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

FC varnateam's Aleko Dachev was substituted for Ivan Marinovski. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Velin Choparinov to make the kick off. 1.CSKA's Alexander Dikanarov managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Krister Alebeck in the 53 minute of the game. Albert Dzherekarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Lin Feng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tzeno Miletiev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1.CSKA. In the 64thth minute of the game Cordera Nunez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC varnateam's Tzeno Miletiev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cordera Nunez took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tzeno Miletiev. Tzeno Miletiev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Krister Alebeck made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Velin Choparinov immediately put the ball in play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krasimir Tumbev during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, one of 1.CSKA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 1.CSKA. The supporters of FC varnateam booed when 1.CSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slavyan Matzev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Aleko Dachev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute of the match Slavyan Matzev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tzeno Miletiev skillfully saved the ball. In the 84th minute Aleko Dachev suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 84 minutes into the game, Slavyan Matzev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1.CSKA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC varnateam the free kick. In the 86th match minute, 1.CSKA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slavyan Matzev to maneuver through the defense. 1.CSKA's Alexander Dikanarov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Krister Alebeck, made in the 87th minute of the game. Alexander Dikanarov might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tzeno Miletiev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexander Dikanarov ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute 1.CSKA were awarded a corner. Alexander Dikanarov went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to FC varnateam getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Albert Dzherekarov hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC varnateam fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! In the 94th minute there was a penalty for 1.CSKA. Alexander Dikanarov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tzeno Miletiev. 2-0. Concetto Trentini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Tzeno Miletiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC varnateam booed when 1.CSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Jobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the 1.CSKA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
