In the 11th minute Velichko Trenkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes, Vihren Delibaltov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ПФК Берое and the Cup2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yanko Gurmev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 minutes of play, ПФК Берое's Velichko Trenkov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseo Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute Velichko Trenkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes ПФК Берое got a freekick which was hit by Valko Sofiyanski. Hugo Lloris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Mello in the 24th minute of the match. Valeri Hadzhisotirov's late challenge caught a ПФК Берое's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valeri Hadzhisotirov helped the player get up and apologised. Valeri Hadzhisotirov hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The throw-in from William Saliba in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ПФК Берое's Casper De Boeck. Eliseo Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velichko Trenkov in the 30th minute of the match. Dimcho Fuskov hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Dimcho Fuskov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Lloris having to interfere. After 37 played minutes ПФК Берое got a freekick which was hit by Dante Noe. Hugo Lloris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeri Hadzhisotirov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, ПФК Берое's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Mello came free, but Hugo Lloris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihail Stamboldzhiev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseo Moreno having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Velichko Trenkov was the one to do the kick off. Cup2's Eliseo Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velichko Trenkov in the 51st minute of play. If Valeri Hadzhisotirov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Cup2's goal looked a bit too open when Velichko Trenkov came free, but Eliseo Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Noe hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Vihren Delibaltov threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cup2's Aleandro Ortiz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 65 minutes into the game, ПФК Берое's Velichko Trenkov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Velichko Trenkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ПФК Берое's Loukianos Konstantakis was substituted for Velichko Trenkov. Téo Mello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hugo Lloris came out and tried to block the shot, but Téo Mello slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 76th minute. Eliseo Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loukianos Konstantakis in the 79th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, ПФК Берое's Loukianos Konstantakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. A collision led to ПФК Берое getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Vihren Delibaltov hit a great ball. Valeri Hadzhisotirov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Lloris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. ПФК Берое's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
