Vassilis Argyrakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofan Búrzin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vassilis Argyrakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hristo Pisarev in the 35th minute of the match. If Oliverios Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Металург's Ramiro Novaes came free and shot a quick shot against goal 41 minutes in the game, fortunately Oscar Pombal had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Antim Statelov kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 48 played minutes R«STAR EAGLES»K got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Sorge. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Hristo Pisarev made the kick off in the second half. Vassilis Argyrakis made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Teofan Búrzin sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Металург getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Dobri Kasúrov hit a great ball. Vassilis Argyrakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hristo Pisarev went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ognyan Vidolov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vassilis Argyrakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Hristo Pisarev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 75 minutes on the clock, Gerasim Barabankov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Металург:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of R«STAR EAGLES»K:s goal. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Hristo Pisarev got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hristo Pisarev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Vassilis Argyrakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th match minute, R«STAR EAGLES»K was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofan Búrzin to maneuver through the defense.
