Varban Gugovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Shevchenko in the 12th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, Manchester United FC's Eusebius Smolarek made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Varban Gugovski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dietbald Ströbele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Hökkvist in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Enex's goal looked a bit too open when Ed 冯义升 came free, but Varban Gugovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Dietbald Ströbele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manchester United FC's Dietbald Ströbele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Hökkvist in the 24th minute of play. Yoncho Prelkov made a great header on Enex's corner, it was just that Manchester United FC's Dietbald Ströbele managed to reach the ball for a save. Varban Gugovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Ed 冯义升 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Varban Gugovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Shevchenko in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Shevchenko in the 35th minute of play forced Enex's goalkeeper Varban Gugovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manchester United FC's Dietbald Ströbele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United FC from getting a goal against them. Ahmet Haşim Temizhan hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Varban Gugovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebius Smolarek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marko Hökkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dietbald Ströbele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The supporters of Manchester United FC booed when Enex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Chaime didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marko Hökkvist in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dietbald Ströbele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eusebius Smolarek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Varban Gugovski having to interfere. Yoncho Prelkov kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Eusebius Smolarek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Varban Gugovski made a huge save. In the 67th minute of the match, Eusebius Smolarek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Varban Gugovski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Junior Shevchenko came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Varban Gugovski could save by the left post. Dietbald Ströbele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Hökkvist in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Hökkvist came free, but Dietbald Ströbele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Varban Gugovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebius Smolarek, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Manchester United FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Trifon Ivanov in the 85th minute. Junior Shevchenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Varban Gugovski made a huge save. In the 92nd match minute, Enex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoncho Prelkov to maneuver through the defense. After 92 played minutes, Manchester United FC's Trifon Ivanov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Varban Gugovski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manchester United FC reached it. 93 minutes into the match, Enex's goal looked a bit too open when Ed 冯义升 came free, but Varban Gugovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ed 冯义升 succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 95th playminute. The Manchester United FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Manchester United FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
