In the 3rd minute, Nesho Metev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimir Tomanov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aron Cocea made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Nacho Barbutski sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, Kalin Mitrushev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Loko Plovdiv booed when FC TORPEDO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miho Oronov didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nacho Barbutski in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Cocea saved FC TORPEDO from getting behind. Nesho Metev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Vladimir Tomanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stoil Stoitzev in the 44th minute of play. Parvan Aladzhemov made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC TORPEDO's Iliyan Kalkanov. Nesho Metev hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Nacho Barbutski scored 2-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aron Cocea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iliyan Kalkanov charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iliyan Kalkanov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, FC TORPEDO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iliyan Kalkanov to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute of the match Nacho Barbutski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aron Cocea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nacho Barbutski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Loko Plovdiv players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
