With a left leg Helmut Kunze saved MANCHESTER UNITED from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Furtado in the 14th minute of play forced MANCHESTER UNITED's goalkeeper Helmut Kunze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Helmut Kunze came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by CARCASS's Vihar Glavinchev. But to his dismay, Vihar Glavinchev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, MANCHESTER UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Vihar Glavinchev came free, but Helmut Kunze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to CARCASS's Helvijs Kazene getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When CARCASS's Vihar Glavinchev in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vitko Rangelov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vihar Glavinchev to make the kick off. Vitko Rangelov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tencho Chimev in the 54th minute of play. CARCASS were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after MANCHESTER UNITED's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vihar Glavinchev took the corner. The corner led to CARCASS's Helvijs Kazene getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Violet Marev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 minutes, Beloslav Demirev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MANCHESTER UNITED and the CARCASS players grew even worse after the yellow card. MANCHESTER UNITED:s Helmut Kunze showed great skill when he stopped Vihar Glavinchev:s penalty. CARCASS's Vitko Rangelov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volodya Stoykov in the 82nd minute of play. When Anko Kúlvachev fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
