PFC LEVSKI 1914 SOFIA's Mario Rashov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slavi Dramov in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by James-David James Boodhoo in the 13th minute of play forced EW® Leeds's goalkeeper Nikifor Ruzhekov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Rashov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tervel Dushanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to EW® Leeds getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Chavdar Motekov hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in EW® Leeds's zone, Penyo Zarchev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikifor Ruzhekov came out of the goal and Penyo Zarchev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Rashov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tervel Dushanov in the 19th minute of play. If Penyo Zarchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slavi Dramov in the 23rd minute of play forced PFC LEVSKI 1914 SOFIA's goalkeeper Mario Rashov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, EW® Leeds's Nikifor Ruzhekov got control of the ball when Wieslaw Wojtowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, EW® Leeds's goal looked a bit too open when Nacho Bidzhov came free, but Nikifor Ruzhekov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nedelcho Morov during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Penyo Zarchev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Nikifor Ruzhekov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. James-David James Boodhoo made a great header on PFC LEVSKI 1914 SOFIA's corner, it was just that EW® Leeds's Nikifor Ruzhekov managed to reach the ball for a save. Nikifor Ruzhekov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Mario Rashov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anatoli Filov's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Stoycho Mladenov hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Yanek Metodiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes PFC LEVSKI 1914 SOFIA got a freekick which was hit by 曲扬桑. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Rashov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Penyo Zarchev was the one to do the kick off. Mario Rashov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tervel Dushanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Tervel Dushanov in the 66th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 68th minute James-David James Boodhoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikifor Ruzhekov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Rashov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tervel Dushanov in the 71st minute of play. Nikifor Ruzhekov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wieslaw Wojtowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Rashov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tervel Dushanov in the 79th minute of the match. Mario Rashov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tervel Dushanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Tzvetoslav Gasparov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PFC LEVSKI 1914 SOFIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tzvetoslav Gasparov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nikifor Ruzhekov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James-David James Boodhoo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikifor Ruzhekov came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by PFC LEVSKI 1914 SOFIA's Wieslaw Wojtowicz. But to his dismay, Wieslaw Wojtowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. There was no doubt that PFC LEVSKI 1914 SOFIA were the better team. PFC LEVSKI 1914 SOFIA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
