In the 5th minute Klement Harasimowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Gyochev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7thth minute of the game Klement Harasimowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Copacabana's Stanislav Gyochev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Klement Harasimowicz sped through FC Copacabana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stanislav Gyochev. Anton Lalchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fergus Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Klement Harasimowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanislav Gyochev was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klement Harasimowicz in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanislav Gyochev saved FC Copacabana from getting behind. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Copacabana's goalkeeper Stanislav Gyochev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MANCHESTER UNITED's Anton Lalchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostol Búlgarov in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Copacabana defense, Denko Gervazov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanislav Gyochev. The FC Copacabana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanislav Gyochev should have stopped the shot. In the 23rdth minute of the game Klement Harasimowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Copacabana's Stanislav Gyochev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Copacabana's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kaj Felin was slow to take the kick. During this time MANCHESTER UNITED's players had a chance to rest. The corner led MANCHESTER UNITED's Jonathon Triplett to a score. 0-4 in the 25th minute. Blasi Gabas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of MANCHESTER UNITED booed when FC Copacabana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Beat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaj Felin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Klement Harasimowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanislav Gyochev was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, FC Copacabana's goal looked a bit too open when Denko Gervazov came free, but Stanislav Gyochev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Klement Harasimowicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Stanislav Gyochev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, FC Copacabana's goal looked a bit too open when Denko Gervazov came free, but Stanislav Gyochev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes of play, MANCHESTER UNITED's Denko Gervazov made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stanislav Gyochev was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, MANCHESTER UNITED's Stanislav Gyochev threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Denko Gervazov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Denko Gervazov might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stanislav Gyochev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denko Gervazov ran back to his position shaking his head. Stanislav Gyochev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klement Harasimowicz in the 87th minute of the match. Stanislav Gyochev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Harasimowicz in the 89th minute of play. Klement Harasimowicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stanislav Gyochev came out and tried to block the shot, but Klement Harasimowicz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the match, FC Copacabana's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Harasimowicz came free, but Stanislav Gyochev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Copacabana fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MANCHESTER UNITED were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
